WOMEN'S RECOVERY PROGRAM:
EASTHAM HOME FOR WOMEN
Program Documentation
The Eastham Home for Women at Faith Farm Ministries is located at the Boynton Beach campus. Recognizing the alarming increase in drug and alcohol addiction among women, Faith Farm opened the Eastham Home for Women in 1990.
Lives that were once degenerated as the result of addiction are regenerated at Faith Farm. We offer a free,
one-year, residential program for women who suffer from problems associated with drug and/or alcohol addiction. At the present time, the Eastham Home has the capacity to serve 28 women.
Our faith-based curriculum is designed to address the unique needs of each student, and the life-debilitating effects that have incurred as the result of drug and/or alcohol addiction. We strive to assist each student in identifying and changing her self-destructive behaviors and attitudes by learning and applying biblical principles.
Our program is comprehensive in that it offers long term, residential treatment in a Christian learning environment. Our structured daily schedule includes, but is not limited to the following: Educational Courses, Work Therapy, Fitness activities, Group & Individual Counseling, Weekly Church Services, Daily Spiritual Enhancement Activities, Pastoral Guidance, GED Classes and Discharge Planning. Our loving and committed staff provides these services in a safe and nurturing environment. Our spacious facilities are surrounded by 90 acres of nature at its best, with lots of trees, birds and greenery. This atmosphere, coupled with our home-style living arrangements, makes it more conducive for our students to feel a sense of family and to prepare for the healing and restoration that will begin to take place.
Our ladder of achievement is a phase-based reward system. Students are required to meet a set of specified goals and objectives during each phase before going to the next phase. Each phase brings more rewards and responsibilities. As students are gradually moved through the phases of the program they achieve increased insight and strengthened determination to move on to the next desired level of success at each phase. Each phase is designed to provide students with individualized and group learning activities that they are able to utilize in a practical way while interacting in their current environment. This method allows for students to be better prepared to develop healthy relationships and lead productive lives when they complete the program.
