SLS AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS:

 The SLS program, or “Student Leadership Service” program, is an extended biblical and leadership training program.  It is offered to those who have a desire to learn skills which are required for ministering to hurting people and leadership in daily life. This is an additional one-year commitment.

 

An Internship is an extended stay program for a period of six months wherein a Student is given an opportunity to be trained for specific employment within the ministry.  During this time, they learn the job skills in anticipation of gaining enough expertise to be hired for the position.  At the conclusion of the internship, they are given an opportunity to interview for the desired position.

 

OMEGA PROGRAMS:

 

The Omega program offers graduates two opportunities for reintegration into society through our work and college programs.

 

Omega Work assists a graduate to find employment in the Fort Lauderdale area and live at a special apartment complex at our Faith Farm location for a low rent with supervision and counseling.  They receive assistance in their job search, completing employment applications and Resume writing.  They can also receive coaching on interviewing skills.

 

Omega College gives our graduates the opportunity to acquire job certifications, degrees and training at local educational institutions and trade schools.  In many instances, we can obtain scholarships for books and related expenses. Omega College students live at a special Fort Lauderdale facility with a stipend of twenty-five dollars a week for spending money. Graduates of the Omega College program can move into the Omega Work program.
